Cultural programme Aims

For further immersion in the language, culture, and society, a wide range of social and cultural activities are held, activities vary weekly. The programmes are designed to provide participants with ample opportunity to learn and use Spanish and be a part of a comprehensive learning experience. The overall aim of the program is to instill the linguistic, practical, and cultural aspects of the Spanish language give students the opportunity to meet other participants and experience other aspects of the Spanish way of life.

Examples include:

• Avila – Lovely town which preserves a complete medieval city walls and lots of monuments.
• Burgos – 2nd biggest city in Castilla. You can visit the Cathedral, the Castle, the old city...
• Madrid – We can arrange different types of tours in Madrid depending on the preferences of the group including visits to monuments, parks, museums...
• Toledo - It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986 for its extensive cultural and monumental heritage as one of the former capitals of the Spanish Empire.
• Segovia – Visiting the Roman Aqueduct, The Cathedral, The Alcazar, the old city was declared World Heritage by UNESCO.
• Valladolid – capital and biggest city in Castilla. Large old city, lots of churches and monuments...
• Zamora – the city with the most Romanesque churches in all of Europe.
